INFO FOR AMIE STUDENTS
READ FOLLOWING CAREFULLY
**********************************************
AFTER 31.05.2013 NEW RULES AND REGULATIONS GIVEN BY AICTE IS FOLLOWED BY ALL PROFESSIONAL SOCIETIES
**********************************************
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has withdrawn its decision of recognising courses in perpetuity for equivalence in Central Government jobs. Now the institutions conducting such courses will haveto apply for recognition from the statutory regulator, that is, AICTE in this case, and it will decide about the new regulations for them.
After 31.05.2013, based on the review by the regulator i.e. AICTE, a decision on continuation of the certification of equivalence of degree/diploma shall be taken by statutory regulator. And the statutory regulators should review the fresh proposals/ extension as per their statute and regulations.”
AICTE SAYS
“By March we should be able to release the handbook of procedures and regulations for the conduct of technical education either in distance or hybrid or blended mode”,
WHAT ABOVE ALL MEANS
After 31.05.2013 the new guidelines and rules should be followed by all professional socities and what AICTE gives rules it comes to all of us by march 2013
ACCORDING TO ME
all of above it clear that the the new rules and regulations should be followed by all professional socities
howvevr the already enrolled students can continue as they but the students enrolled after 31.05.2013 should come under new rules and regulations
the rules may be such as follows
1. total numbers of subject may increased from 13 to 22 subjects
2. assignments components may be added
3 minimum period of completion may be incresed from 2 years to 3 years
(note: the info in ACCORDING TO ME is perceve by me so its only for your info only ) by Er_rajiv
